Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Kampar Regency will occur at 6.07 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.30.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 11.36 percent; clothing and footwear group at 9.88 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group experienced deflation of 0.41 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.17 percent; health group at 1.30 percent; transportation group at 0.70 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 1.71 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.80 percent; education group at 0.51 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 8.67 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 7.56 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Kampar Regency in April 2024 was 0.03 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Kampar Regency in April 2024 was 2.03 percent.
